Common fixes (in order)

Most activation issues come down to connectivity, device settings, or trying to activate too early. Start at the top and stop when it works.

1) Check you’re in the right place to activate

Some plans activate only after you arrive in the destination. If you’re still at home, wait until you land (or follow the plan’s activation instructions).

2) Confirm the eSIM line is turned on

Go to cellular settings and ensure the eSIM line is enabled. Set it as your Cellular Data line.

3) Turn on Data Roaming for the eSIM

Enable Data Roaming for the eSIM line. Keep roaming off on your primary SIM to avoid charges.

4) Restart your phone (yes, really)

A restart forces the device to re-register on the network and often resolves activation hangs.

5) Check APN settings (if provided)

If your plan includes an APN, enter it exactly as provided. If not, leave APN on automatic.
